A new truck rolled into Scranton March of 2021. The Scranton Fire Department submitted a competitive grant request in 2020 for a new first response truck for the department and was awarded $72,000 from Grow Greene County. Upon arrival the truck was immediately put to use and is a welcome replacement to the 1991 truck previously being used. The new first attack truck will be used for everything from field fires to accidents.
