Ducks Unlimited is working with state and local partners on a strategic initiative to deliver water quality wetland restoration projects in Greene County that will serve as vital filtration systems for the county’s watershed while also providing significant wildlife habitat, recreational, and economic benefits to the community. They were awarded $40,000 to assist in the wetlands intative at Goose Lake.
