Under its agreement with Wild Rose Entertainment Inc., Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation receives five percent of the local casino’s adjusted gross gaming revenues to distribute to nonprofits, governmental and charitable organizations. Of that total, 4.1 percent goes to projects in Greene County and 0.9 percent is shared equally among the community foundations of the six contiguous counties. The six counties are Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Dallas, Guthrie, and Webster. Each of the community foundations decides how they will allocate the funds received by Grow Greene County, following are pictures of some projects funded by the contiguous counties’ community foundations.
