Greene County Conservation

Greene County Conservation is embarking on a multi-year project to update the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Grow Greene County has committed $500,000 towards the project.  Once the project has begun, GGC will award $125,000 for 4 years to the project.

Greene County Fair Association was awarded a $500,000 grant payable in four years at the April 1, 2025 Awards Night.  The funding will go toward a new horse barn and restroom/shower house.

The Churdan Fire Department received $103,000 towards a new-to-them pumper truck for the department.

Sierra Community Theater received $100,000 toward the renovation plan of replacing the seating in the theater.
