Grow Greene County awards the Greene County Community Foundations funds each year to distribute toward grants under $35,000.  Check out the Greene County Community Foundations web page for more information.

The Paton Park Improvement Committee submitted a competitive grant for new playground equipment for the Paton Park.  They were awarded $30,000 toward the project.

The Greene County Historical Society wrote a grant to Grow Greene County in 2021 asking for assistance in replacing the roof on the 103 year old building. Grow Greene County awarded $30,000 in  funding to assist with the project.

The City of Grand Junction wrote a competitive grant in 2021 for funding to resurface the swimming pool gutters.  The pool is 50 years old and in need of on going maintenance.
